Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Politiparty, including our website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is operated by Spaceyyy LLC, a Indianalimited liability company (“Spaceyyy LLC”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that your use complies with all laws applicable to you.

2. The Service

Politipartyis a free-to-play fantasy game in which you assemble lineups of real elected officials and earn points based on those officials’ publicly recorded activity, such as votes cast, bills moved, and other objective public records. The Service is provided for entertainment and informational purposes only.

3. No Wagering — A Free Game of Skill

Politiparty is free to play. It does not involve real-money wagering, betting, or gambling of any kind, requires no purchase to participate, and does not offer prizes with monetary value. Points, rankings, and standings have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for money. The Service is a game of skill and engagement, not a gambling service.

4. Political Neutrality & No Affiliation

Politiparty is independent and non-partisan. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or authorized by any government or government agency, elected official, candidate, political party, campaign, or political action committee. Scores reflect objective, publicly recorded activity and are not an endorsement, rating, or criticism of any person, party, or position. Information about public officials is drawn from public records; we do not warrant that such records are complete or error-free.

5. Accounts

To use certain features you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your credentials confidential, and to be responsible for all activity under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You may not:

• create more than one account per person, or share your account;
• choose a username or display handle that is misleading, impersonates another person, or is unlawful, offensive, or infringing;
• transfer or sell your account to another party.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• cheat, manipulate scoring, or interfere with the integrity of any contest or leaderboard;
• access the Service by automated means (scraping, bots) except as we expressly permit, or attempt to circumvent rate limits or security controls;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code, except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law;
• upload malware, disrupt or overload the Service, or gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data;
• harass, abuse, or harm other users, or infringe the rights of others.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as your display handle and league names). You grant Spaceyyy LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content as needed to operate and provide the Service. You are responsible for your content and represent that you have the rights to submit it. We may remove content that violates these Terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and logos (excluding the underlying public records and your content), is owned by Spaceyyy LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. The congressional and other public-record data underlying our scores originates from government sources and is not claimed as our property.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, hosting and infrastructure) and may link to third-party sites or sources. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that scores, rankings, or underlying public data will be accurate, complete, or timely.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spaceyyy LLC and its officers, members, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Spaceyyy LLCand its officers, members, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.

14. Changes to the Service and These Terms

We may modify or discontinue the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Effective” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to first contact us at terms@spaceagebrains.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally in good faith. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Indiana, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

16. General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Spaceyyy LLC regarding the Service. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
